Loved our NeuroRacism panel from #BlackInNeuroWeek? We are back at it again with a three-part NeuroRacism event. First up, we’ve got an exclusive screening of the new documentary Coded Bias, a gripping exploration into the biases inherent in Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the harrowing implications of these biases as the influence of AI continues to grow.* Then we’ll have a special conversation with thought leaders in NeuroRacism from both neuroscience and computer science, along with the director and producer of Coded Bias, Shalini Kantayya. We’ll follow that with a special journal club discussion with the authors of the recent 2020 CellPress Report, Missing in Action: African Ancestry in Brain Research.
