About Kellie Williford:

Kellie is currently a Ph.D. student at Vanderbilt University in Dr. Danny Winder’s lab, where she is an F99/K00 DSPAN Fellow and former recipient of the HHMI Gilliam Fellowship. Her thesis work focuses on understanding the cell-type-specific and circuit mechanisms underlying stress processing and anxiety-like behaviors, and she plans to apply this knowledge to the field of addiction research as a postdoctoral fellow and beyond.
